finally!! exams are officially over lol.. but only to be reminded that the promos are just abt 2-3 months away. damn..need to start mugging alrdy. well today i really did nth then play NDS. i just realised sth though, not that im trying to brag or anything, but like i said i realised that i am actually quite a good tactician. i can foresee some outcomes in games that i play and most of the time i will be able to make quick and accurate decisions. i will take the game that i was playing on my NDS for example. i was playing Pokemon Leaf Green!! YEA!! lol..okay u see i manage to assemble a dream team consisting of non legendary pokemon. it was a plan frm the start of the game. i alrdy had in mind wad i wanted in my team. So i assembled, Blastoise, Lv 48, Primeape, Lv 45, Dugtrio, Lv 45, Arcanine, Lv 45, Electabuzz, Lv 46 and Aerodactyl, Lv 45. these were the pokemon i brought to fight the elite four. seemingly a very dumb move to make cos most if not all of the elite four's pokemon were at least Lv51 and above. almost 10 levels higher than my lowest lv pokemon. well b4 coming to the elite four, i have an unbeaten record. and so i thot that i was gg to lose the record after this cos i just had the erge to pit myself against them to test if my team had wad it takes and how far this team could progress. i predicted that my challenge would most probably end at elite four lance. so i more or less had some mental preparation lol..so b4 the challenge, i bought 20 revives, 19 hyper potions and with me are some max revives and ethers.
i got a little shock frm my first encounter with lorelei as i found her to be an extra challenge cos her pokemon were always faster then mine and she was always using irritating moves like supersonic and lovely kiss...damn.. i manage to over come her with a stroke of brilliance when i switched to aerodactyl which is suppose to be weak against her pokemon, but the earthquake move that aero had finished her off. lol..bruno was nxt and i had little trouble with him. then i went on to face agatha which i also had some probs and i had to use the revives and hyperpotions with care cos i was running low frm the battle with lorelei. with much deterence and grit, i manage to reach elite four lance. i thot my challenge would end here cos the only pokemon that i have dat has any chance against him was Blastoise as it had the move ice-beam.
his first pokemon was gyarados so i used electabuzz. KOed it with just one thunder move. then he used double dragonair. i finished them both with two ice beams each frm Blastoise. then he used his trump card, Dragonite. lv 60...damn and my Blastoise was only lv 49..it grew during the course of reaching lance. i prepared for a long encounter. haha but little did i expect, Blastoise's ice-beam got a critical hit and it was one hit KO!! whew...his Aerodactyl was easy, one surf was even to bury it.
i was very pleased with my team cos i nvr really did expect to reach tis far. now to fight my rival to claim the league champ status. he was a patsy..sooo easy la..haha i finished him off without much scratch on my pokemon and i was the league champ.
although this may not be much, it has made me realised that i can cope under pressure and miracles do happen. ( not to mention my quick thinking mind ) lol!!!...well, at least this gives me confidence for my up coming Magic The Gathering tournament. cos my deck is really strong. i was afraid that my theory would fail me, but it turned out better than expected. haha i call it ' Me And My Saprolings" deck lol..gay name for a vry gay strong deck..lol!!! hopefully i can repeat my pokemon league triumph and at least get further then i predicted, the round of sixteen. (must get to quarter finals!!!!!! XD) =]
