I did the impossible today haha!!! i manage to get second place in the group stage of the magic competition. haha i will now be part of the final 16.
in my group there was another underdog like myself and two other favourites. one of the favourite was a jap. haha man did i make sushi out of him...lol!! i totally kicked his butt in the first game haha an easy two points. the second match was against the other underdog of the group a singaporean. haha once again i came out tops..although he did prove to be quite a competitor. the atmosphere was great, infact it was too great that i started feeling sick. i caught a cold from some asshole watching us.. stupid man. anw, i was feeling vry pleased with myself that i was almost acting like some pro ass lol!! but then came the final match. i lost to a guy using an extreme beat down deck. my poor saprolings only needed one more turn to win, but i was a little unlucky and dat guy won. damn!! this means dat he will top the grp and will be seeded. being seeded means dat he will meet the runner up of another grp, which means dat he might be facing an easier opponent. for me, my hopes of reaching the quarters will be greatly diminished since i will be facing the top of another grp. damn it... now i need to rethink about my strategy. i wonder if i should continue using my saprolings or should i use my elfs?? hmm...well i have a week to ponder this over. haha.
