todays boxing day, and im home alone with my siblings cos my family went for a whole day prayer and they are still not yet back. lol!! did nothing today, however i did do abit of the hsehold chores today, like hanging of clothes, keeping of clothes as well as cleaning the floor. had pizza for dinner. and was a great day cos there were no adults around and we were able to lay around not doing anything and theres no one to bother us.
well, besides all that, today's highlight was the match featuring Stoke City and Manchester United. being crowned world club champions in japan just a few days ago, and having just got back from japan, winning all 3pts against stoke will always be a challenge. not only are they suffering from fatigue, but also the pressure of falling behind league leaders Liverpool if they fail to gain all 3pts today. although they are currently at 4th place, behind liverpool, chelsea and aston villa, they only trail liverpool by 7pts with 2 games in hand. so by right, they would be level on pts with chelsea and trail liverpool by only 1pt. so winning against stoke city today was a must. and fortunately they managed a 1 goal victory against a stubborn stoke side who saw them being reduced to 10 men after a sending off at the 71st min. that was the turning point of the game and man united took no more than 10 mins to fully capitalise on their one man advantage to snatch a goal late in the game with only about 6mins of normal game play time left. so united will have a merry christmas after all, as the final score reads Stoke City 0,Manchester United 1.
