what a game,what a game..it was as expected high end stuff from start to finish. United had most of the possession in the first 15mins and were pushing city back into their own half for most periods of the first. they came close to scoring at the 25th min or so when city's goal keeper Hart spilled the ball after rooney shot straight at him and fletcher reacted to slowly does not being able to capitalize on that blunder. but rooney could have done much much better. he should have aimed at the bottom corner instead of shooting the ball straight at Hart. and i think he knows it as well. it was a poor effort from less than 15 yards out. however, he did made amendments by scoring his 100th goal for united by tapping in the ball after Hart parried the ball off carrick's shot. and it proved to be the winning goal as well.
howevr, there has always got to be a spoiler and this time it was C.Ronaldo. he picked up 2 yellow cards to warrant a red and he was off. STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID!!! why did he had to mock the ref when the ref gave him his first yellow??? and why did he delibrately used his hands when he could have headed off rooney's corner??? WHY??? he totally let his team and the fans down. seriously, if he had not mock the ref for the first yellow by clapping at the ref's decision, the ref might have given ronaldo the benefit of the doubt and let it go by closing one eye to the case and seeing it as man city's defender pushing him. but NOOOOO that fucker had to cause a scene and in the end the ref executed revenge and sent him off. this caused united to be a man down for about 20mins of the game . it was a good thing man city did not capitalize on the man advantage they had. this could have turned out awfully wrong for united. but luckily it did not. haha united could have scored another goal right at the death to seal the win not for hart's great recovery. he was at the other end of the pitch to try help city score from a corner with minutes remaining from injury time. but the ball was cleared to ryan giggs and sadly he did not know hart was off his line and was rushing back. he passed the ball to rooney who was aware of the situation and he chip the ball beautifully and accurately towards goal. it was on its way in but for hart to rush back in time to push the ball away for a corner. haha but in the end, it was a good derby game and united did deserve to win it.
